Cooking Hot Dogs In Air Fryer
Air Fryer Crescent Dogs are a fun little snack or quick meal that are a detour from your normal Hot Dogs with buns. They cook up in just minutes in the Air Fryer. So good!

Sunday nights are usually a night where we make something "fun" – not a big meal but more of a light snack night.
We made Crescent Dogs in the Air Fryer the other week and they were a big hit!

Key to Success #1 – Crescent Rolls or Crescent Sheets
Have you seen the crescent sheets in your grocery store?
It's basically a tube of refrigerated crescent roll dough but it's not cut into the typical triangles. It's just all in one big sheet.
For this Crescent Dogs recipe, you can either use the crescent rolls or the crescent sheets.
I had the crescent sheets so that's what I used. If you're using the crescent sheets, cut the sheet into 8 equal pieces.
Wrap each portion of dough around one hot dog.
It's okay if the hot dog is not completely covered with the dough. I like to leave the ends of my hot dogs out.

Key to Success #2 – Line the Air Fryer basket with Foil
The crescent dough has a tendency to get baked into the holes in the air fryer basket.
To prevent this, you can line the bottom of your air fryer basket with a square of aluminum foil.
Be sure to spray the foil with olive oil to keep the dough from sticking.
One word of caution – the Air Fryer has a powerful fan inside it that will blow the foil out of place if there is nothing on top of it.
For this reason, I recommend preheating the Air Fryer without the foil and only adding it when you're ready to cook the Crescent Dogs.
Key to Success #3 – Do the Dip Dip Dip
One of the best things about Air Fryer Crescent Dogs is dipping them in your favorite sauces and condiments.
If you're making these for a group of hungry kids, you could line up ketchup, mustard, cheese sauce, honey, salsa, or any number of other dips for these Crescent Dogs.
What's your favorite dipping sauce?
