  1. Hey guys! i own a blackwidow chroma stealth with the o-rings equipped on the key's and i was wondering how often you should clean your keyboard and how others go about cleaning there's?
  2. Well I clean it once everyhalf a year to a year when I feel its dirty, usually woth super clean or those sticky stuff
  3. You can safely remove the keycaps for cleaning using a keycap puller such as the one included in the Razer Mechanical Keyboard Enhancement Kit.

Here's a YouTube video if you need more instructions :)

  4. I always buy one of these pressurized air can´s for blowing out the dust underneath the keys, it´s much faster than taking out every single one
  5. I do light cleanings every week wiping the the top of the keys off with a paper towel and just water. About every 3 months I take out the keys and shake out any crumbs and dust particles and wipe everything down. I just use water and paper towel to be on the safe side. some plastics or electronics get discolored or even get sticky when you use rubbing alcohol. My old microsoft mouse had some thin rubber coating that I thought was solid plastic and started to get sticky after i used alcohol to clean it. Baby Wipes might be a good option too.
  6. i would do the same thing, i use one of those canless air systems, they are a bit on the expensive site, but they last for a very long time
  7. The air can is the way to go. It's good for cleaning other peripherals as well. The way I see it, we invest good money in these awesome Razer products, why not invest a little more to keep them looking new?
  8. Replace keyboard often. Cleaning solved! Jk

Canned air, water, paper towels, q tips, and alcohol.

  9. once i used those air cans which gets cold (which isn't just oxygen, its chemicals)
and i was blowing for so long,
that it froze the water in the air,
so for a sec there was like snow in the air
and i live in california near the coast
  10. Depends, a "small" clean is just getting out a can of compressed air and then blasting the dust out of the keyboard; every now and then you should clean your mechanical keyboard completely by removing most/all keycaps and cleaning it; but you don't have to do that very often unless your cat sleeps on your keyboard.... cats.... they are cute.... but... the hair...
  11. So today my Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Stealth broke. Spilled a little coffee into it and now whenever I press my left arrow key, it registers my left ctrl key also. My left ctrl key is also a little wacky where sometimes it won't work or sometimes windows process it as being pressed down. Tried to clean it and also take it apart. Haven't been able to fix it. Anyone know any fixes?
  12. @Sukoiix3 in the forums linked this video before in another thread about cleaning keyboards. I think its pretty helpful if its a big spill. Probably switch is shorting out cause of the liquids. You could also check if Razer warranty covers spills. Hopefully this helps.
  13. I clean the keyboard twice a year removing the keys with a keycap puller and then i use a pressurized air can to quit the dust.
  14. Carefully with cheap vodka and cotton for buttons.
And then remove the spacebar and carefully with one stick i remove all sh`ts xD
  15. Pressurized air can does the job perfectly for me. I don't always have the time and nerves to pull the keycaps so this is a simple solution.
  16. Air can is the way to go, does 90% cleaning for 10% effort
  17. i got an Vacuum Attachment Kit, a very tiny pipe that fits between the keys, so i can clean under the keys and another one with some brushes onto it to clean the keys. easy
  18. I use my electric blower to blow out the dust and other crap that lodged between the keys. The only time I remove the keys is when I have to get in there to wipe down the underside of the keyboard.
  19. Just some paper towels and water should be fine for a quick cleaning. If you want, you can also take off your keys and clean your keyboard more thoroughly.
  20. i just wipe the keys with a wet cloth hahah kinda lazy to pluck everything out
